In the Test Range System based on HIT-TENA platform, a large number of test equipment in heterogeneous systems are used, various heterogeneous systems have incompatibility problems in joint using, test equipment in the non-HIT-TENA system can’t communicate with HIT-TENA system in data interaction. Therefore, the development of HIT-TENA’s test equipment adapter can be useful for information exchange between heterogeneous devices and Test Range System that is based on HIT-TENA platform, and it has important significance to improve the constructing efficiency of Test Range System.The Test equipment adapter is implemented based on the ARM, which has Linux operating system, and the adapter software is designed on Linux operating system.On the base of analyzing the technical requirements of software, which is in the test device adapter in the HIT-TENA system carefully, this thesis is on the design of the overall program test equipment adapter. According to the needs of the various software and overall demand analysis, this thesis using the method of object-oriented design designs the middleware software, the intelligent LAN component, the engine running software, download configuration software and receiving configuration software.The adapter must implement the middleware function as a HIT-TENA node in order to achieve interoperability and data distribution formula with other nodes. On the basis of the communication mechanism of the middleware,this thesis develops the middleware software interface services, and implements system management services, statement management services, object management services and other services, and the distribution mechanism of data; in order to achieve different protocols dynamically loaded, protocols conversion function is implemented using the form of components, take Ethernet protocol for example, on the basis of the thought of component, using the method of static and dynamic models, the intelligent LAN component is designed, this adapter can achieve conversion between LAN protocol data and object model instance data; the running engine can load and parse the protocol document and manage components, and supports loading and deployment capabilities, and communicates with the middleware for data exchange via static link library; due to the different equipment involved in building heterogeneous systems using different protocols, the adapter as a standard joint will be involved in different systems, therefore, the test program files and components need to be downloaded and the adapter IP address also need be configured. Download configuration software and receiving configuration software are implemented based on the communication mechanism of TCP/IP network socket, the test program and the components can be downloaded to the adapter and they can be successfully received, and the running IP network port can also be configured successfully.Finally, a test system is established to test each part software of the function on the HIT-TENA test equipment adapter and verify the entire function of the test equipment adapter. The results show that the experimental device adapter achieves conversion between the heterogeneous test device protocol data and the object model instance data, and the result of conversion is correct, and the technical requirements of the adapter are implemented.
