Software Defined Radio(SDR), first proposed in 90's in last century, is a kind of technology which has great future in communication application. It can satisfy the demand of the modern wireless communication such as the software realization of the system functions and the modularization of the hardware, and make it easy to update the system with less cost.Based on the theory of Software Defined Radio, the implementation of an relatively universal multi-DSP platform is discussed and researched. The order of this paper is to achieve a radio platform with the opening, normative and blocking property. First of all, with the research of the framework of the Software Defined Radio, the paper designs the exchanging network multi-DSP platform based on the pipelining technique by using the parallel processing. In order to make the algorithm be more efficient and compatible to be realized in high-speed DSPs, the paper designs and optimizes the software program that is achieved easily by DSPs for the demodulation of signal, for example the demodulation of SSB. Second, several aspects which are of great importance in the design of DSP parallel system, such as choosing best-fit processing elements, parallel structure and task assigning are analyzed. According to them, the paper researches the material function of the hardware platform, and admeasures assignment for the modules of the platform, and designs the integral circuit of the hardware system. Finally, the paper actualizes the exchanging network multi-DSP platform.
