Automated test system (ATS) is widely used in aviation and aerospace industry, weapon equipment, and energy industry. ATS is the necessary assurance to the quality of complex systems and equipments. The telemetering cabin is an important part of some kind of aircraft. The telemetering cabin that demand the high-quality can help cutting the cost and speeding up the development of researching aircraft.In order to modify the disadvantage of manual test method that is too slow and too complicated, this paper introduces a automatic test platform of telemetering cabin which meet the test requirement of multi-model certain telemetering cabin.This automatic test platform uses VI technique that is developed by LabWindows/CVI. In the system, 2 industry control computers control 6 test equipments and 6 pieces of cards, by GPIB and PCI bus. It can send and receive multi-channel analog signals, digital signals and image signals which are used to test the transmission channels of the telemetering cabin, and also can test the performance indexes of the telemetering cabin. The platform can automatic generate test result report. The whole system provides kind man machine interface and helps shortening test flow and cutting artificial errors.The automatic test platform is through various debugging and testing. The software interface is easy to use. The signal generating model of the test platform can generate the signals which meet the test needs of the telemetering cabin. The signal receiving and dealing model can meet the precision of analog signals and digital signals.The paper introduce the general design of the test platform, the design and realization of the software system, the design of the WDM driver of the multi-signals generating card, and the debugging and testing of the whole test platform.
