With the development of economy and technology, a new demand of medical treatment service is put forward. People hope that they could obtain enough medical service but not only from hospitals. The service has changed from disease curing to disease preventing and health caring. It indicates that the health conception, mode and approach have changed profoundly. Long-distance medical treatment spread the range of wardship from hospital to anyplace the communication network could arrive. Long distance monitoring system provides a method researching object's physiological functions through series monitoring of physiological parameters. Doctors can provide medical service for the sufferers by the help of the information from long distance. It is significative for sufferers to realize the health status of theirselves and get a high level medical service in emergency. Therefore, it is reasonable to develop a wireless monitor system based on the parameters of human's health, which is economical and humanistic.By lucubrate, a new project of carry-home health monitoring system based on GPRS. In the presence of ARM, sensing technology and GPRS communication technology, this paper presents a carry-home monitor system based on the parameters of human's health, which is small, low power consumption, real-time and safe. S3C44B0 produced by SAMSUNG is used as the main processor. The physiological parameter of body temperature and blood pressure are obtain by different sensors. These analog signals, processed by pre-circuit, are supplied for the processor. The signals are transmitted to the appointed medical treatment organization or personal mobile telephone by GPRS. It will provide important data for doctors to monitor people's health state. The data could also be saved to computer by the USB interface.There are six chapters in this thesis. The first chapter concluded the background of this technology, and gave the summary of this paper and put forwards the design. The second showed the monitoring principle and the whole system design. The third chapter brought up the hardware design scheme, and gave a lot of system circuit. The fourth was about system software design with C language, includes AD conversion, Liquid Crystal Display, GPRS communication and USB firmware design. In the fifth, this paper introduces the debugging process and the error analysis of experiment result. The sixth chapter was the sum-up of the whole-length in which the next work is showed.
