With the development of modern machinery, the usage rate of CAD software in mechanical industry is rising, and gets more and more important position. In the next few years or longer period of time there will be more industry or users are used of CAD technology in their designs, CAD software will also have the better prospects.Processing software of blank holding groove in mechanical press craft is the system software which designed for the sheet metal stamping process that designed to deal with the blank holding groove in automotive industry. For stamping, sheet metal material is plastic by press. In the process that plastic sheet prevents wrinkling, fracture and uneven collection of hard power, it needs to design sheet metal pressing down the edge of the blank. In this paper, the processing software of blank holding groove can help engineers model surfaces and make further manual adjustment by analysising mesh model which calculated by FEM calculation.This article mainly illustrates how to solve the blank in the design process through dealing with blank design software program. First of all, by analyzing the application process on ACIS modeling platform, it makes detail of the core of the development of CAD technology and process knowledge. And then analyze the ACIS modeling engine architecture, mainly related to the design of ACIS model type, the way for topology, curve and surface technology. As the main procedures applied to the surface senior deformation for ACIS modeling technology, it introduces and analysis of the senior deformation of modeling technique, mechanisms, methods and types and so on.Graphic models that this article related to are all surface, either hollow or solid models, get the surface data first for operating, so the structure and representation of surfaces that is the focus of this article. In this paper, the representation of surfaces that uses a non-uniform rational B-spline surfaces (NURBS).Design the overall framework for the process of the realization of the main aspects, as a whole will be divided into a number of different functional modules for detail and analysis. The technical difficulties encountered in actual development have detailed analysis and research. This will not only improve the procedure of the user's grasp, also put forward a number of innovations for the future of the development process. In this paper, the demand for software analysis focused on customer needs and system needs.Both the demands guarantee the integrity of the design process, reduce the development cycle time for the second phase of the procedure. Then the example of verification procedures to ensure that the programming needs of the accuracy, the accuracy of the process, as well as looking for errors for the actual operation of the process of debugging, to facilitate the process of revision. At the same time, the design process to ensure that the data format compatibility for other software, increasing the scalability of the software.This article also describes many difficulties and shortcomings in the final of the work , takes a future outlook in CAD software technology and has a follow-up in the latest developments.
