With the rapid development of electronic technology, PLC, frequency converter and the computer control technology have been widely used in factories. Compared with the traditional relay control, PLC is small, powerful, reliable and flexible, and it has strong anti-interference capability besides its simple wiring. The frequency conversion and speed adjusted has been widely used in the factory because of its good mechanical property and stepless speed regulation. The Computer Control System realizes the functions of remote monitoring, alarm instruction, fault diagnosis and so on through the real-time communication between the scene equipment and the PC. And it greatly simplifies the operation and maintain of equipment and the breakdown processing.Gantry feed scraper is a large-scale automation equipment, and uses two high-low speed AC asynchronous motors to drive. It has high degree of automation and requires much safety. But it is difficult to identify the faults of the input sensor and output contactor, and it makes trouble for the maintenance man inspecting lines. The product condition of urea rake feeder is very poor and it is necessary to improve the working environment.To protect the long-period and safe operation of equipment, to increase the reliability of the operation, lower maintenance costs and to improve the operating environment, it is essential to research the electrical control system of the rake-feeder in large scale fertilize. Therefore, it is feasible, practical and necessary to research the rake-feeder microcomputer integrated control technology based on PLC, frequency converter and computer control.The thesis analyses the advantages and disadvantages and the developing direction of the packaging rake-feeder integrated control system, and studies & decides its overall structure with emphasis on the selections of PLC, frequency converter, configuration software. The system realizes the integrated control of urea rake-feeder with the industry personal computer of the MCGS configuration software, touching screen, Omron CJ1G44H PLC and frequency converter, and takes the emphasis to solve functions of rake-feeder slanting Correction, remote monitoring and control and fault diagnosis. The rake-feeder switched safely, reliably and conveniently, manual and automatic operation mode, alarm function and PC monitor and operation function.The real stable and long operation demonstrates that the designed electrical control system of the rake-feeder is better than the original urea rake feeder relay control in the operation, control, protection and communication and raises the producing efficiency greatly.
