The applications of information in the manufacturing put forward higher requirementsfor reliability and non-breakdown running time of the numerical control machine tool, themachine fault diagnoses and maintains become one of the intimatest technologies tomodernized industrial production. An opportunity arises with the rapid development inInternet technology. The web-based realization technology has been valued by the industrydomain for its original characteristic. This design is precisely based on the open stylenumerical control system; research on the design and realization of the web-based remotestate-monitoring and fault inquiry diagnosis of machine tool, with the aim of providing anew solving approach for numerical control system maintenance.Main works of this thesis are as follows:1) The remote monitoring and diagnosis based on the B/S three layer network structurehave been studied, and based on the research of the current popular software designprocedures and realization method, the architecture of the remote monitoring subsystem andfault inquiry diagnose subsystem were established and realized.2) On the basis of understanding the structure characters of the Open NC System, thedata acquisition technology has been studied and explored for the sake of realization of toolswear monitoring. Integrated with the ActiveX control technology, the function modules ofmachine tool condition monitor and tool wear monitoring were developed based on web.3) A fault diagnosis scheme, which combines with manual inquiry and automaticinquiry, is proposed. Based on the technology of dynamic web technology and the networkdatabase accessing technology, the subfunction of remote enquiry and machine tool faultsdiagnosis were realized and the related software was developed.4) The video communication technology was studied and analyzed, and thetransmission of Video Images from client to server was realized. Accordingly, completes thesystem remote monitoring and fault diagnosis.
