High pulsed power technology is one of the front high technology in the world and has extensive application prospects. It is a key link to charge Marx generator or condenser which is the initial energy storage device in the pulsed power system. The traditional charging power supply works under the state of power frequency, so the drawback of the equipment is that it is bulky, cumbersome and low automatic degree. With the development of pulsed power technology at full speed, the traditional equipment can't already meet the requests, such as high power, high efficiency, high automatic degree, miniaturization, etc. The research work of this thesis is mainly based on the higher performance of CCPS.The operation principle of series resonant CCPS under PFM control method is analyzed in this thesis. It is proved that the average charge current of high-frequency series resonant CCPS is invariable through mathematics analysis. The series resonant CCPS possesses strong ability of resisting short circuit. It is suitable to charge capacitor under high voltage occasion. The characteristics of resonant current and charging voltage are analyzed under PWM control method through mathematics analysis. The characteristics are also proved by the simulation using Pspice.The high-frequency high-voltage step-up transformer is a key component of the whole charge system. The performance of transformer directly influences whether the charging power system can reach the technical indicator. The equivalent model of transformer is analyzed in detail in this thesis. Skin effect and proximity effect that cause the eddy current and eddy current losses in the coil are discussed. The design principles of high-frequency high-voltage transformer are also provided.The control strategy of double bridge and the hardware circuit diagram are given in this thesis. It is crucial to sample the charging voltage and charging current that are the important feedback parameters of the whole control system. Differential measurement is adopted in the system. The control method and operation mode of the high-accuracy A/D chip ADS8364 are also presented. The parameter design process of transformer for the real system is provided.The SCI interface of DSP is used to communicate with PC to realize intellectual and long range control. The software flow chart, the charging current waveform and the charging current waveform under PFM and PWM control method are separately given in this thesis. The validity of the whole system, the correctness of the control method and the transformer parameter are verified through the experiment result.
