TEA CO2laser is a widely used high-power gas lasers. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, good beam quality, stability and so on. The charging power supply is an important part of high-power TEA CO2laser. It largely determines the output performance of the laser. Industrial frequency charging power supply is usually used in TEA CO2laser. But it is bulky, low efficiency and poor stability. The constant current charging power supply with series resonant mode can greatly reduce the size and weight of the power system. The advantage of high efficiency, high output power and high cost-effective, make it suitable for used in TEA CO2laser power system.In this thesis, the principle of the full bridge power supply with series resonant mode is introduced and the mathematical model of the circuit is established. Through theoretical analysis, the principle of the resonant current and storage capacitor voltage is given. These conclusions can help to guide the circuit design. Than the circuit design examples is introduced in this thesis. By the simulation of Pspice, those conclusions are verified.The full bridge power supply with series resonant mode has a high cost-effective. The charging voltage is up to12kV, the charging time is short enough to make the circuit working stability in10Hz frequency. It suits the requirements of the TEA CO2laser on charging power.At the end of the thesis, some suggestions are given to refine the power system.
