The traditional high-voltage high-power pulse power supply commonly used frequency pulse transformer and rectifier circuit formed a high voltage DC power supply charging power pulse generator, and then used the magnetic compression switch or rotary spark gap switch for high-voltage pulse, which has big bulk, heavy weight, and limited access to the pulse frequency range, low reliability, difficult control and more cost.The paper discussed the design of the high voltage pulse power supply based on LCC series-parallel resonant charging technology. LCC resonant converter, with PFC function and pulse width modulation control, as the charging power pulse generator, used the full-bridge inverter instead of the magnetic compression switch to achieve the high voltage pulse. It has low weight, high power factor, high efficiency and precise control of output pulse, large repetition range of frequency.LCC series-parallel resonant converter through the resonant soft-swiching technology, all switches can be realized the real soft-switching (ZCS/ZVS) to reduce switching losses. The paper detailed the operating characteristics and mode of work of the LCC series-parallel resonant converter, gave the specific parameters of the design, simulation and experiment results.Pulse forming circuit is a full-bridge inverter circuit, which has detailed the operating principle and control methods, using the event manager to achieve open-loop control of the full bridge converter.The performance of the high-frequency transformer has a direct impact on the wave form distortion of the output and the efficiency of energy transfer, but also may affect the safety of power switch. In this paper, the design method of high frequency transformer was given.DSP is the core of the power supply, the paper adopted TMS320F2812 made by TI company to realize the control of the LCC series-parallel resonant coverter and full-bridge inverter, it is also used to adjust the voltage of output and protect the system when voltage and current overflowed. It gave the control system hardware design and software flow control. Simulation results verified the correctness and effectiveness of the theoretical research and design.
