High power fast-flow axial CO2 laser, which has good beam quality and can run long time steadily, is a mainstream high power laser in industrial applications. NC technology is a high-efficiency, high-automation technology with considerable flexibility along with the development of computer technology. The CO2 laser with CNC machining equipment is playing an increasingly important role in the industry. Therefore, more and more companys require lasers with steadily NC interface which can connect with the CNC machining equipments. The laser can be controlled by the external NC system.Based on the Program Logic Control and Touch Panel, the outer test system of high power fast-flow axial CO2 laser is designed.The main contents are listed as follows:High power fast-flow axial CO2 laser NC interface has a corresponding relationship with the internal interface. In order to test the laser NC interface, the system uses the configuration software STEP 7-Micro/WIN and the PLC technology which includes SIMENS S7 series of the 224 CPU module, and analog I/O expansion EM235.The test system is founded on the Touch Panel technology, WeinView Touch Panel and configuration software EasyBulider500. The system can show the data which is read from S7-200, and write data to S7-200. It realizes the human-machine interface control, and provides the powerful monitoring fuctions for the testing platform. Touch Panel technology makes the man-machine interface of the test system simple and practical.The test system can be reused in the series fast-axial-flow CO2 lasers with NC interface, ensuring fast axial flow CO2 laser NC interface work effectively, steadily, reliably in industry.
