With the development of automation technology, iron and steel industry has become a pillar industry of the national economy. The technology of the continuous casting line has improved more and more quickly, while one of the important links, Nozzle replacement technology is a major problem. How to maintain a stable liquid level in the case of the completion of the project, is the problem we study in this paper.In the past, the Casting production often replace the Tundish by artificial, and then switch to the automatic level control, so spent a lot of time and manpower. The system combines actual process conditions of the four steel production line in WISCO, and the past experience in level control, achieve the function of one key to replace the nozzle.In this system, tundish change is driven by hydraulic cylinders, controlled by PLC, it is high degree of automation. During the replacement and after the replacement is completed, we control the opening size of the stopper to control the liquid crystal device into the molten steel flow in size. By measuring the stopper opening and the flow rate and mold level fluctuations in the value of the relationship between the calculated dynamic response characteristics between them, designed a new type of PID fuzzy control, control of liquid level to stabilize fluctuations in size This technology which was put into use in the four steel production line in WISCO, obtained good results, the mold level fluctuations in the anti-interference ability, so that the process behind casting production line has been significantly improved, reducing failure frequency, slab quality was improved, achieving the expected results and objectives.This thesis include: first, introduce the background issues, system technology and to solve problems; second, continuous casting production line of electric control agencies, and the subject was introduced in the control system; third, to discuss the level control and fuzzy control combined control strategy; Fourth, the system described in detail in some of the programming.
