Tension control is a very important part of process control in Printing,Packing service and Paper making. Good tension control improves product quality and productivity. Main subject discussed in this dissertation focus on the unwinding and driving process tension control for the high speed paper sheeting machine.This paper has discussed the aspects about character is ties of paper sheeting,control strategy common used in paper sheeting,technical flow of paper sheeting,PLC technology,the makeup of PLC control system, the selection and connection of system's hardware, the PID control arithmetic, fuzzy technology and fuzzy-PID technology .This Paper has also brought forward the solutions to the problems while have met in practical project application and has got some achievements comparing to other methods.For the efficient working of the paper sheeting machine, the good system is the key technical. In the thesis, a paper sheeting machine distributed control system based on PLC and frequency conversion timing is designed and developed, under the background of the"1400 type high speed precise paper sheeting machine". It include the method design, hardware and software design and the realization of control arithmetic. Application of Fuzzy-PID algorithm in the tension control system of paper sheeting machine.A simulation model of tension control system about Fuzzy-PID controller, PID controller and common Fuzzy logic controller is realized successuflly with MATLAB. Comparison of simulation results show that Fuzzy-PID controller is simper, more repid and accurate, it has improved dynamic and static perofrmance of control system and has obtained good conrtol quality.
