The Design And Implementation Of An Automatic-test System Of Wireless AP

Automatic test can solve the inefficient defects caused by traditional test and meet the higher quality requirement of software. But there exit a large number of difficulties in the realization process of automatic test, which make the test progress slowly even be terminated. If automatic test is treated as a software project, we can effectively reduce the risk of the automatic development and increase the success probability of automatic test. In soft engineer, several major strategies about Rational Unified Process can be an effective solution to specific problems in automatic test. On the basis of automatic test and RUP theories, through deeply analyzing the test project character of the wireless access point products, this article select appropriate RUP main strategy and propose an automatic test development process for wireless access points.This paper firstly design a wireless AP automatic test system framework which use C/S structure, and client-sever communication through serial port, which make user control the entire system in the Sever-can only by inputting parameters and improve the testing environment and design the automatic testing platform of the wireless AP. The test platform can be solving the problem that operating mode is changed then the test environment must be changed manually. Then, complete a wireless AP automatic-test system, it can achieve a throughput test and save the test result automatically.The experimental results show that the effective function of WAPATS will bring significant benefits for the enterprise actual project. And through the outcome-benefit analysis, automatic test will bring benefits which continuously be expanded. And the value of the system will be increasingly prominent.
