This project focuses on the development of a marketing and sales information system for pharmaceutical companies.The reason that we use.net as a frame is out of our consideration of the characteristics of the sales and markting system in pharmaceutical companies:the staff are located all over the country;the State executes special administration on pharmaceutical industry;in face of the fierce competition on market,pharmaceutical companies are starving for timely and efficient management over their branches,and a smooth communication platform is also desired for internal data collection within the group.Therefore,we choose.net as a frame to develop this marketing and sales management information system. The system takes full advantage of.net,and truely realizes the decentralization of business and the integration of management.Based on the framework of Microsoft.net,our design regards the whole network as a basic application platform,and the bottlenecks of the previous management software in network composition,communication efficiency,safety,stability,etc. are solved on this basic platform.Furthermore,this management system has the features of both business decentralization and application integration,keeps consistency of the data flow, and well realizes the informatization of company business.This.net-based marketing and sales information system for pharmaceutical companies provides the mangement group of a company with massive analysis reports on sales, customers,service,competition,performace of sales staff,customer value contrast,expenses, planning,products,etc.,which enables the management group to execute a real-time control over the whole process of marketing and sales as well as customer management and carry out the management and policy-making in a more digitalized and scientific way.In brief,the development and the test-running result of this system shows that this system satisfactorily provides the management group with endmost marketing and sales data which is most crucial as well,enables them to make value and performance analysis on key sales factors e.g.customers,sales staff,etc.,and thus offers great assistance in sales policy-making of a company.
