Petrochemical Company LIMS Software Design And Implementation

Laboratory Information Management Systems, LIMS is the product of modern information technology, modern management and modern analytic technology. Since its first announcement 30 years ago, technology and application has advanced in a shocking pace, providing powerful platform for Labs of variouse sizes to run efficiently and correctly and for information to be stored/exchanged/processed. Especially in the recent 10 years, due to PC popularization and IT explosive developments, LIMS utilization has highly and widely been pushed to an unbelievable new scope. The large petro-chemical companies in China are among the first to practise LIMS.This article combines the two LIMS system I took part implementing in large petro-chemical companies, through the analysis and the study on these key technical facts related LIMS, to address and to research the enterprise demands, system configurations, to design and to develop the softwares, network features and webpages, to study and to figure out the solutions for practicalproblems, to discuss the further modifications and improvements, to look forward the future directions and potentialities. I do believe that research of LIMS software is very practical.
