SCMS (Storage Management and Control System) is the component of enterprise or company three-dimensional WMS (warehouse management systems), is the brain and the heart of whole Automated Storage and Retrieval System(AS / RS), usually belong to warehouses management information system. And warehouse management information systems difference is that it contains not only the bottom of automation equipment control and management, but also against a specific automation of the basic data warehouse management system, from relations point of view, it is relatively independent of one Subsystems.The main function of SCMS is managing a specific material in storage, cargo space, and other basic information and optimizing the efficiency of warehouse storage, management of the situation in the storage and control of automation equipment, and materials in the warehouse Automatic storage operations and storage operations.With users of AS / RS called for further enhancing the level of automation and based on the use of past user feedback, we need to improve the design of new technologies :such as distributed system, fieldbus, communication technology in the application of AS / RS, In some ways the system has been unable to meet the current hardware environment; three-dimensional overhead, the little manual work, improve the system reliability requirements; warehousing varieties, management can not be achieved artificially high efficiency of enterprise management needs of Fine - Storage Strategy and diverse - the shelf life of food for the management of the storage location, temperature (top to bottom shelves of high-level differences in the temperature 5 degrees), and other requirements, the need for systems management more respect. In this paper, the design of AS/RS can improve the monitoring system reliability, provide a fine storage management, upgrade AS/RS properties, the subject of research and design have a certain social and practical significance.This thesis takes some Airport three-dimensional food-storehouse as research object,is for the purpose that provide a kind of perfect solution case for the whole project design of automated multi-layered warehouse SCMS, in order to develop more efficient, stable and modular SCMS for automated multi-layered warehouse. The main content of this paper is as follows:First, combining myself actual investigation and the development work, the thesis proposes a modularized design method for SCMS of the food-storehouse. According to work field situation and food-storehouse's structural style, the whole project design of SCMS is given.Second, in this paper, it elaborates the design principle of SCMS. Base on the characteristic of SCMS, the supervisory control and managemengt criterion flow has been designed. The develepment and structation of AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System), it proposes the design criterion of monitoring flow and elaborates the supervising system design principia. The foundation, design principle and concrete operation of all blockings of SCMS are emphasized. The design criterion of database is analyzed, and data security is discussed.During the design work for multi-layered warehouse SCMS, the connection technology for the data communication between supervisory control and managemengt computer and the lower position hay stacker'PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) has been fully researched. The data information exchange which is used to realize the control between supervisory control and managemengt computer and PLC has been already designed. According to the defects in UDP, this thesis puts forward reliable communication protocol in application layer and consummate correspondence procedure. The thesis also covers the development work of data communication and control function between the supervisory control and managemengt computer and LED screens.After the laboratorial debugging, spot debugging and reliability test run, the system has come into operation formally in Martch, 2008. The operation conditions are good and more than 5000 trays have been finished accurately so far. The operational efficiency is improved more than 40% effectively through the capability of SCMS such as counting, inquiring, cargo-location distributing, data backing up and trade comparing. The supply time is shortened and the production cost is reduced as well. SCMS of AS/RS brings obvious economic benefits to the company.This paper involved in the design of technology programme modules and systems design, although the storage system from the development process, but has strong universality, can be widely applied to other types of three-dimensional warehouse monitoring system.
