Along with the computer technology and automatic control technology development and be the widespread used, the Automated Storage and Retrieval System has been rapidly developed, compared with the traditional warehouse it has some advantages that it has occupied small land area,the big storage capacity and fast delivery and so on. It can help enterprises improve labor production efficiency and capital turnover, reduce labor intensity then improve the market competition of enterprises.In the paper automated storage and retrieval system of developing situation at the domestic and international have been studied and analyzed, a set of automated storage and retrieval system overall design scheme is put forward. Control system adopted by Siemens S7-300as control core of distributed control structure. Through the PROFINET, PROFIBUS bus with management and monitoring layer connection and realize real-time data transmission and monitoring. According to the shelf "gently under heavy", goods "unloading time at least" unloading principles established the mathematical model, genetic algorithm used to optimize allocation way of position, shelves stability and operation time less the optimum combination have been realized. Based on analysis of operation process of stacker, stacker control adopts "barcode positioning and speed-regulate control", in ensure accurate positioning, under the situation of the maximum improve stacker speed; at the same time on the possible failures have been analyzed and have been put forward proper measures to protect them.The software design used that STEP7 programming software realize stackers unloading control and SIMATIC WinCC flexible realize touch screen interface design. SIMATIC WinCC V5.0 have been used configuration software design monitoring system, Pictures contain equipment and position status display, fault alarm, inventory (stock) information reports, etc.Through experimental studies and theories derivation, it is proved that the study in the article of automated storage and retrieval system technique has some advanced nature, the realizing way is practical, and has some practical value and application prospects.
