Sensor technology is the basis of the new technological revolution and the information society. Wireless sensor network (listed WSN) is the latest networks system based on sensor technology for the specific application. It has a very broad application prospects, but the research is still immature, and there can be a lot of work to do. Domestic work in this area has not been started basically. This paper follows the latest progress of wireless sensor networks, focuses on the research and design of Internet Network Interface functions of wireless sensor networks, and expatiates on what the hardware and software have realized in a detail directing towards the real-time monitoring functions of Remote Internet networks.The networking intelligent sensor based on Ethernet network interface introduces the international standards of computer network--TCP/IP and Ethernet Protocol to sensor, that is, sensor is embedded with TCP/IP protocol and Ethernet Protocol so that the sensor can be connected with Internet / Intranet directly without PC.Compared to other types of sensors, due to the sensor directly embedded with TCP/IP protocol and Ethernet Protocol, it has the Ethernet function on the spot, making the monitoring and controlling system depend on the enterprise Intranet in data collection,information release,system integration and other areas, making monitoring network and information network unified. If the enterprise Intranet connects to Internet, all the information on the spot can be found on the whole Internet in real time, if necessary, the information can be shared in real time in any place where Internet has been used all over the world.The Paper introduces the principle and methods for the Sink sensor nodes'hardware design in detail, which has network interface function in WSN system, and focuses on the design of Internet network interface module. Sink sensor nodes'data processing module and wireless communication module's chip selection and function realization are discussed, and embedded TCP / IP protocol stack in the application of the system is set forth innovatively. Energy conservation attracts the most attention in WSN application, so during the hardware design, low-power devices are selected, and system power saving mode is used in software design, when the network protocols are operated, the advantages of the switching between network nodes'sleep, awaken and many other working modes are best played to make the system work in a low-power state and extend equipments'life as far as possible.Through some related experiments, the results are analyzed to verify the reliability of the system and achieve the desired design requirements.
