A Method For Integrating The Business Process Based On SECA Rules And Web Services

With the growing of the economic competition and the continued expanding of the market, how to effectively support the inter-departmental and inter-enterprise business process's integration has become a major challenge for the enterprise information system. At present, in-depth development of Web services and the business rules technology provide the underlying technologies and related applications support for integrating business processes. More and more enterprises release their business functions as Web services. When business process changing, enterprise information system can meet user's requirements quickly and correctly by compositing the existed Web services.However, in these business process integration systems which based on compositions of Web services, the stable process flow and the dynamic business logic couple tightly, and are lack of splicing point between them. It is not easy to change the dynamic business processes. Although, business rules technology, especially the emergence of ECA rules gives a solving idea for the above-mentioned problem, it does not take into account the state's information in the process. The business processes are related with the state closely. In the different states the same business object will do different actions for the same event. As result, it can bring different business processes. Therefore, only using the event-driven model can not meet the changeable business needs effectively.In order to solve the problem, this paper includes there main parts.Firstly, it introduces business process's integration methodologies and main technologies based on Web services, and in-depth studies of the using of Web services and the ECA rules in the application of today's business process's integration.Secondly, it proposes SECA rules by introducing the state into ECA rules, and put forwards a new business process model which based on states and events. It separates the process flow and the business logic. Finally, it proposes a new method for the integration of business processes. This method integrates business process by compositing Web services which are driven by SECA rules. It helps for enterprise to better adapt to the volatile business environment and rapidly integrate a business process.
