Research And Implementation On The Convertion Of Grid Workflow Description From XML To Petri Net

More and more powerful computing and collaborative Grid applications that require tremendous resources are constructed as the Grid researches and Grid infrastructure greatly advance.Many applications are more and more complicated which are constrained by temporal and resource relationship.Grid workflow can conveniently construct, execute, manage and monitor grid applications,and automate grid applications with great efficiency. Due to the dynamism, distribution, heterogeneity and autonomy of grid applications,conventional workflow technology can't effectively solve the process description problems of grid environment. According to characteristics of grid resources and grid applications, the thesis studies grid workflow process description, The detail is as following:First: In order to more clearly describe the relationship between the various components of grid workflow, this thesis presented a grid workflow Architecture model ,and for grid workflow process model proposed hierarchical thinking, grid workflow process model is divided into Description Language layer and procedure logic layer. For description language layer, this thesis proposed grid workflow model based on xml; for procedure logic layer ,this thesis proposed grid workflow model based on CPN.Second: Because XML is semi-formal, it is difficult to establish semantic analysis and Validation for grid workflow model based xml, thereby limiting its effectiveness. Petri net is a graphical modeling tool, grid workflow model established by using Petri net has mature mathematical analysis methods. So the thesis designed and implemented convertion of grid workflow description from xml to CPN, and proved that is equivalent.
