| It is concerned widely about Colored Petri net being applied in workflowmodeling. Workflow modeling tool is primary one of workflow components, whichintegrates several fundamental functions such as process definition, processanalysis, and process simulations, used resource, invoked application, etc.The thesis firstly gives an overview on research of workflow modeling toolsand introduces workflow reference model and workflow product structure. And theprimary functions in workflow modeling tool are addressed in detail in this thesis.The thesis researches deeply and considers workflow model in fourperspectives: the process perspective, the data perspective, the used resourcesperspective, and the invoked applications perspective and proposes workflowmeta-model based on Colored Petri net. And the thesis gives a software architecturebased on the perspectives above and designs corresponding data structures anddiscusses formalized algorithms of drawing Colored Petri net. In the end, the thesisrepresents an application case and models its business process.The author implemented a workflow modeling tool based Colored Petri netwith Java programming language and XML. The tool has been applied to modelbusiness process in ColouredFlow, which is developed by school of software inTsinghua university. And it has been verified in practice. |
