From the jump of the fashionable TV show "Super Girl" which produced by Hunan TV station, many domestic TV stations pursue democratic TV show enthusiastically in recent years. It is a pity that those programs are turn to homogeneous, vulgar and commercial increasingly. Case study, compare analysis, text unscramble and theory study will be integrated in this thesis to aim at these phenomena of Television-Culture. The author tries to present the survival actuality of Chinese TV through reviewing the factors including populace mentality, culture economy and politics under the field of Media Culture Studies.This thesis evolves in five chapters.Firstly the author defines the meaning of "Show-Ages" in this thesis, points the challenges faced by television-culture while drawing the outline of culture-sight currently. It seemed that the masses are easy to indulge in the "dummy space" constructed by TV with the extend of the audience's authority, television-culture also is easy to lose it's inward meaning and turn to worldliness with the influence of the audience rating.The second chapter starts from the reason why the audience fall over themselves for TV show, and then put it forward that the audience's self-awareness is inflated unparalleled under the environment of "Fragmentation", they found a stage to escape from reality, prove themselves and communicate with others.The two chapters followed proceed with culture economy and politics, excavate the deep meaning hidden in the back of Television-Culture. The former leans to exhibit the essential that the masses are sale as commodities through analyzing the industrialization of TV, the latter leans to discuss the question that TV show which clones the Hesperian commercial model had break into the space of public-culture, TV show also tampers with the ideology of our society and challenges the safe of our country' s culture.Eventually, this thesis opens out the configuration of TV show which is transformed ceaselessly and indicates the deep causation hidden in the back of TV show. The author suggests that constructing outstanding recreational brand, enhancing the innovation of TV programs and building the green audience rating could provide an outlet for Chinese television-culture.
