Recently,many enterprises at home and aboard have been conducting the construction of the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, and have achieved good applicable results. After the centralization of the data nationwide, in order to solve the problems of the decentralization of the information of the traditional customers, and the difficulties to distinguish the targeted customers in the financial competition, we strengthens the analysis, the recognition and the management of the group of VIP customers from whom high profits come according to 80-20 principles, and we decide to develop the CRM system and the corresponding data warehouse.Firstly, the paper analyzes and describes the key technologies, the mainstream solutions and the application development process model which developing a data warehouse for the banking CRM, and discusses detailedly the key technologies on the data ETL process (Extraction -Transformation- Loading, ETL) and the data cleaning, and other key technologies for a specific application of practice. Secondly, on the paper the functional requirements and data needs of the CRM system users at all levels, in particular the requisite data for the CRM system, the CRM's functional modules and the various evaluation indicators have been demanded a detailed investigation and analysis. And further, it completes the design of the framework, the concept model, the logic model and the dimension model to the data warehouse, and illustrates the design of key facts. This paper also proposes a concept of the enterprise group on a bank CRM system, and designs the indicators. It perfects the system for customer management in the banking. It designs and implements the common data ETL process flow chart and the enterprise group classifying process by the equity holders. Synchronously it demonstrates the results of CRM based on the data warehouse with the OLAP-type analysis, that effective solutes the bank plight of the customer management and furthest meets customer needs, improves the bank competitiveness. Finally, it discusses the data warehouse future and the prospects for the future practice.This paper is the analysis, review and summary on the development process practice of the CRM system based on data warehouse. Its development process, methods, techniques and means to achieve the similar data warehouse application development have the great significance that it provides a introductive reference to the construction the analytical banking CRM system based on a data warehouse.
