With the development of modern power electronic technology, a new power switching device-IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) has become the fastest-growing device in recent years, which has a broad application of power electronic devices. IGBT features bearing high-voltage, high-current, high-switching-frequency, low-turn-on-resistance, small-driving-power etc. At present there is no domestic IGBT test system manufacturer. The paper aimed at the adoption of the IGBT SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation) signal source and IGBT test system research for the production of IGBT manufacturer to provide testing methods.VVVF(Variable Voltage Variable Frequency) technology is a kind of high technology, which is developed on the basis of power electronics, microelectronics technologies as well as computer technology. And PWM technology is one of the core technologies of the VWF. IGBT is an important power electronics device. The precise SPWM signal source is requisite to test IGBT parameters accurately.The main work and contributions of this dissertation is summarized as follows:This paper demonstrate the SPWM signal source can be generated by PC and DAQ(Date Acquisition), by using LabVIEW program in terms of automatic test technology, virtual instrument technology and mixed bus technology. Moreover, an IGBT automatic test platform structure which is based on Virtual Instrument will be discussed.The experimental results show that the carrier frequency of SPWM signal source based on Virtual Instrument is continuously adjustable in the range of 100HZ -10KHZ . By wsing this signal source, the test system can greatly increase the flexibility. Through the research that IGBT test system based on virtual instrumentation, It can be found that the testing method is flexible, fast. It has a broad application prospects in the realms of testing electronic components parameters.
