Software testing is a very important part of the software product quality, and has an important position and role in the life cycle of software products. Now, how to improve the quality of software testing is to be the center of the discussion for the industry.Study all aspects of software testing and make full use of software testing theory knowledge, the software related knowledge system to propose the application in software testing phase to stop the standard, that is, MG method. In this paper, the mainly research work is as follows:First, the analysis on software testing and defect measuer, found in the software testing management exit phase method of standard control less, more for the judgment standard conceptualization factors, so this is its introduction of quantitative. Study and analyze defects measure, put forward reasonable defects metrics and use statistical parametric model to reasonable construction of the MG model. The ISO standard part of the conceptualization of the standard factors into quantitative control factors in order to achieve the evaluation software product stage and give the stage of maturity release purposes.Secondly, study of software testing process, the stop standards, and the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the existing software testing processes and stop standards, with my own internship experience, summed up the software testing processes and stop standards this paperFinally, the above software testing related studies, study and analysis of existing software defect management tools, to realize software defect data record, data management, graphical reporting, statistical analysis, defect tracking and other functions of the software defect management tools systems.
