Political Blog And The Construction Of Network Public Sphere Of Our Country

It has intimate relationship between the public sphere and the media all the while. The media is not only the important constituent, but also one kind of the intrinsic mechanism of the public sphere. In the last few years, the political blog, a tribal group of the blogs, is entering people's field of vision gradually, and it is also playing a vital role in the construction of the network public sphere. The characteristics of ideal public sphere in Habermas' vision are reappearing in network media.This thesis mainly takes Habermas' theory of public sphere as starting point, and put it under Chinese society background to analyze the political blogs' characteristics and contents, and discuss the transformation and development of public sphere in political blogs, as well as the potential and limitation of political blogs in the construction of network public sphere. My thesis will discuss as follows.The preface mainly introduces the cause and purpose of this thesis, the current research of network public sphere at home and aboard, as well as the studying method which I will use.The first part mainly reviews the history of public sphere, analyzes the characteristics of the ideal public sphere and the development of media public sphere, so as to lay a theory base for the full thesis.Part two discusses the public sphere communication characteristic of blog macroscopically, and matting for the full text.Part three defines and classifies the political blog, and takes the ideal public sphere as reference to analyze the conjunction between our country's political blog and public sphere as well as its superiority by comparing with traditional media public sphere and BBS in cyberspace.Part four analyses the content of "Two Sessions" blog, the engine of our country's political blog, discusses its function in constructing network democracy public sphere and its limitation as public sphere.Part five analyses the problems which existed in and in face of political blogs in the construction of our network public sphere.This thesis considered that political blog has many conjunctions with ideal public sphere, and it also displays its political potential in the construction of network public sphere. But it is not a real public sphere, and it is only has the potential of public sphere. We should regard the democratic function which displayed by political blog in politics with logos, and utilize it rationally.
