With the increasing economic and society, the demand of water resource becomes more and more large. As an important foundation for people's life and development, the water resource plays a key role in the production and daily life. At the same time, the economics are limited by the shortage of water resource. It is a very important subject that how to use the water properly, and how to make the development of the economic and society to match the water supply.In recently, the population in our country has increased rapidly. And the people's living standard is continuously raised. So the requirement for the water supply service has become higher, the size of water supply system has become larger, and more complex. The town water supply system is a very important and complex network, how to ensure it works safely and reliable, and how to manage it reasonably, that has great significance. In order to improve the profit in both economic and society, we must apply the moderate technologies and control theories to level-up the production and efficiency, apply the moderate management, optimization methodm and computer technology to manage, monitor, predict and optimize the town water supply system.Water supply pipe network is a important part of water supply system. It duty is to deliver the water to the users safely, and satisfies the demand in volume, pressure and quality. The optimize running of the town water supply pipe network is depend on the application of the town water supply monitoring and scheduling system, which collect the data at the monitoring point in every link.According to the characters of the water supply system, such as the extensive range, large quantity, long distance and dispersion of monitoring nodes, associate with the applications and developments of wireless communication technology. Also regards to the realities for the water supply system, a monitoring and scheduling system for town water works is proposed in this paper, which designed and analyzed many links in water supply system.Many topics such as remote monitor, optimize seclude and intelligent control, are discussed in the paper. Many advanced and digital equipments are used in design. The wireless data transceiver is used to collect the data such as electrical parameters, flow and pressure in the water resource. And it can control the pumps remotely too. To collect the data of pressure and flow in key area of water supply pipes, can provide the basis for the water supply decisions correctly. PLC and inverter are used to control the pumps, in order to take full advantage of the PLC and upper PC, and to exert the specialty of PID and fuzzy control in controlling strategy. The method mixed fuzzy control with PID is used to improve the accuracy and responding speed.In order to make sure the stability and efficiency, a monitoring platform has also been developed. This platform can not only show the data from every place, but also can control the pumps and valves timely. Further more, all the parameters can be saved in the database. Bi-plane heating preparation technology is used to ensure the safe running of the system. At the same time, the control algorithm can be implemented by the commands in background of the platform.Running in Pinglu first water work in Shuozhou, Shanxi province for more than one year, the whole system can improve the automatic level of the town water supply, and keep the stability and high efficiency for it, the scheme is is feasible.
