The on-board computer of the Space mission is well developed with the new technology in recent years. More observation missions in the space become available. ESA and NASA are leading institution in this field. SpaceWire technology has grown organically from the needs of on-board processing applications. This Standard provides a formal basis for the exploitation of SpaceWire in a wide range of future on-board processing systems. SpaceWire links are full-duplex, point-to-point and serial data communication links. It's now widely used in all kinds of Space missions as a leading on-board technology.Here is the outline of the paper:1. The scope of the SpaceWire Standard is introduced. The Standard is given to familiarize the reader with the basic SpaceWire concept. The introduction contains each level in the SpaceWire, especially detailed in the exchange level and network level.2. The design of the SpaceWire interface IP Core is compeleted according to the Standard. Detailed decription of the module is given including the interface specification, state machine and the principal of the essential process.3. The principal and function of DMA is introduced. Also the analysis of AMBA bus is given according to the AMBA specification, including the interface and function of AHB and APB bus. The IP Core provides an interface between an AMBA bus and a SpaceWire node. It could be configured through a set of registers accessed through an APB interface. DMA controller is designed specifically for the SpaceWire interface. Data is transferred through DMA channels using an AHB interface.4. The principal and methodology of verification is introduced. The SpaceWire interface is divided into sub-modules in order to get better verification coverage. The VMT is used to build an AMBA bus verification environment and verifies the AMBA interface of DMAC.
