In front of the impacts brought by the prevalence of the new media such as network, IPTV, Mobile TV, mobile text message, and building LCDTV, etc, and under the background that the competition within the IT media has been intensifying, and that the limitations of the plane media system exist and they need to be adjusted and reformed, the traditional IT media which combine the IT media and plane media is facing unprecedented, multiple-layered pressures. Among which, some of them has even been cornered into a life-and-death situation, while more prevalent situation is that most of them need to make their decisions on their overall development plan and business operation which are related to their future development and survival. The Computerworld Media Group is one of the first established IT media, and it is also the most influential brand among IT media in China today. It is no longer a purely traditional IT medium today, but a multimedia information service platform which integrates many resources including network resources. However, the paper printing publishing business for IT field is not only the foundation of the group during its initial development stage, but also is still the largest major business of the group today. Thus, it is facing challenge of how to cope with the changing environment, and how to identify the future development strategy.
