Development Of Document Management System For Anqiu Northward Rerouting Of Southern River Hydraulic Projects

The documentation management of Anqiu Northward Rerouting Of Southern River hydraulic engineering has two aspects: one can be considered as a normal office document; another one is that it has engineering characteristics. It should be generated with the progress of the water resource and hydraulic engineering, and the classification of documents and document collecting scope should be analyzed case by case. In the meantime, the database size will grow inlarge with the project phase, such as project initiation, project feasibility study,preliminary design, project bidding, project construction and project completion. Also it has stage feature, IE varied construction phase has different documents serving for different purposes. Majority cases, the same topic might have several sub-topics which will result in incoming and out coming file belonged one topic. Hence, indexing the documents should be addressed in the system design.The paper studied how to design the document management system for Anqiu Northward Rerouting Of Southern River engineering projects from the practical point of view. The purpose of having this kind of system is to reduce the labor cost and effectively improve document management. The work focused on the requirement analysis and conceptual design. Some implementation results were also introduced.The outline of the paper is as follows:First of all, project background introduction and feasibility study;Second, introduced the system approach and methodology;Third, requirement analysis and model establishment, design and implementations;Last of the paper was conclusions and expectations.
