Method And Application Of The Government Networks Portal Public Satisfaction Measurement

With the information technology and the rapid development of the Internet, the development of government networks portal becomes an important component of the e-Government, and it is also a window for the government to provide electronic supervision and service to the society. The quality of a regional network is directly connected to the image of the local government and influences the quality and level of its supervision and service to the society, and meanwhile, it also directly reflects the quality and progress of the electronic build of the local government. At present, our governmental networks are developing rapidly, but there are still some problems, such as insufficient information- service, the lack of working capability on the internet, poor security-guarding capacity and so on. As a result, most of the opening of the websites has not markedly improved the government efficiency, the exchange of information between the government and the public has not get substantive improvement and the government networks portal for public information services has not yet reached the level of satisfaction with the ideal state. So, how to strengthen the public demand-oriented information service of the government networks portal to enhance public satisfaction becomes a very important issue.Based on the background, the dissertation is applied to the government networks portal and discusses how to evaluate the public satisfaction of the government networks portal. At first, it refers to the study of satisfaction measurement at home and abroad, combines the characteristics of the government networks portal services, builds a academic model about public satisfaction measurement of the government portal networks and establishes the supporting measurement index system. And then, based on the theory and algorithms of structural equation model, the dissertation gives a demonstration of structural equation model about public satisfaction measurement of the government networks portal, effectively solves the problems of the academic model theoretically. At last, the models and methods are applied to evaluate public satisfaction of a certain government portal. Empirical Study about the measurement method is conducted according to the data which is collected by filling in the network online questionnaires, and the specific analysis of the results is provided. Some advices are given for future development of the government networks portal.
