People's Daily founded in 1946 was the official newspaper of the Jin, Ji, Lu and Yu region governed by Communist Party of China (CPC) during the liberation war. It officially published in the four areas of Taihang, Taiyue, Jinan, Jiluyu and the readers mostly are the majority grassroots officials and Party members. It actually played an important role in Journalism Course of CPC in the north China region.Although it was only two years of operation from the inauguration to termination, the People's Daily underwent the transition from urban area to rural area and the liberation war and land reform as well. Furthermore, it stood up to the "anti- Klikun" Movement and "Yan'an Rectification Movement" and became a piece of household newspaper.With the practice of the newspaper operation, it carrys out the publicity of the policy of the central government and centering on the work of the liberated area, which injected good factor to the fight and movement of the liberated area and delivered its newspaper principle with practice. Meanwhile, those practices contributed much progress to the journalism operation and manpower as well as the accumulation and innovation of theory.As one piece of the rare party newspaper in the liberated area, the People's Daily was not only the indispensable part of the Chinese Proletariat Journalism but one source of rich practice and theoretic experience of the party newspaper of CPC in the liberation war. It was the very chapter of the Journalism Course of the Communist Party of China.
