Being a hot topic, public intellectual was keenly discussed in the international academic circles during the past two decades. But in China, scholars began to focus on it just few years ago. They researched and discussed from different angles and situations. This article lies on the analyzing and caparison of the relationship between intellectuals and media in the two different period: the transition period from Qing dynasty to the Republic of China and nowadays. Meanwhile, to put forward some suggestions for the contemporary public intellectuals, such as dealing with media reasonably and having a positive corporation, is another key point of this essay. Additionally, this essay also means to prove the possibility of rebuilding the publicity of intellectuals in nowadays. |
