Design And Implementation Of Video Surveillance Terminal Based On Wireless Mobile Video Surveillance System

Video surveillance is an important component of the security system .Because of its intuitive, convenient, informative content and rich features; it is widely used in home security, traffic information, security on duty, on-site command, and many other fields. In recent years, network bandwidth, computer processing power, storage capacity improve rapidly, codec technology also becomes more mature, because of these, video surveillance technology has developed by leaps and bounds.With the development of wireless communication technology, the times of broadband access and mobile has been entered.All of this lay a strong foundation for the widespread use of Wireless Mobile Video Surveillance.The aim of the project-"Design and Implementation of Video Surveillance Terminal Based on Wireless Mobile Video Surveillance system" is to research a wireless mobile video surveillance terminal, which can use the network resource to provide video monitoring information for users; it has wide coverage and accurate position. Also, it can monitor the target at anytime and anywhere, and provide real-time information for users.Firstly, the thesis introduces the process of the video surveillance, analyzes several typical surveillance systems and gives a summary and outlook about the surveillance terminal's evolution. Then, key technologies in wireless mobile video surveillance system are elaborated, which include embedded systems technology, streaming media technology, video codec technology and signaling technology.Based on the existing technologies, the thesis puts forward the wireless mobile video surveillance system's requirement. On the basis of the system's needs, design and implementation of video surveillance terminal are introduced, including the software and hardware demands of the surveillance terminal, architecture, design, implementation, test and so on. The major business process, infrastructure and implementation of hardware, principal module, key data struct and crucial processing flow are expatiated.At last the shortcoming of wireless mobile surveillance terminal is summarized. The recommendation of improvement and optimization is given.
