With the rapid development of mobile network recently, network quality of service becomes a focus issue. Enhancement of network quality and operation environment not only improves telecom operators' public image, but also enable the enterprises more competitive ,which provides strong support for sustainable development .How to integrate the present business data to analyse network ability from business level and analyse the trends and rhythm of key service index of GSM/CDMA business ,and how to find out the network bottleneck and the reason, and how to describe the network occupation state of different service, how to provide operation analysis and decision support for telecom operator ,which are main issues that telecom operators must face with .Data warehouse technology provides an ideal solution for the issues above.Based on the practice of mobile traffic network performance data analysis system built in China Unicom Headquarters, The article discuses the data warehouse technology deeply. This paper mainly carries on the following several works:1. To expound the necessity to set up the mobile traffic performance data analysis support system on the basis of data warehouse.2. To introduce in detail the mobile telecommunications network and traffic network management system, and analyz the main questions which the data analysis support system faces, then base on these questions, to introduce the data warehouse and the OLAP technology.3. To introduce in detail the Architecture design, the analysis topic design, the logical model design and the physical model design of the system.4. To explaine the realization of the data processing and the GUI.
