Guizhou Unicom Network Quality Based On Data Warehouse Technology, Operation Analysis Applications

With the development of telecommunication around world, types of services and amount of the service increase rapidly, which brings a t-bit data treatment in information systems. Telecommunication companies face then a big challenge in competition. An important problem is how to use those data to pick up some useful information and analyze the data. Then it can provide information about company's operation to the policy makers.A solution for the problem is a result of combining database and Internet techniques. It is based on the data warehouse technique, which consists of a series of databases, and uses online analytical processing to do a statistical analysis and a check on users' assumptions. This process, based on data mining, can discover some relations hidden in the data and supports the decisions of managers in a more precise manner.This thesis describes mainly the principle and the implementation technique of the data warehouse, OLAP and the data mining. It analyzes the modeling methods and discusses the application of the data warehouse technique in the Integrate performance Quality Analyze System in the Guizhou Branch of China Unicom.
