Research And Implementation Of Information Appliance And Home Network Architecture

The development trend of consumer electronics products is information appliance in the 21th century. Along with the appearance and development of all kinds of new home network types and the further integration of computer technology, embedded system technology, electronic technology and communication technology, how to establish an intellectualizing home network to bind the different types of home appliances from an angle of the architecture and particularity of information appliances to implement interoperating, information sharing, the remote controlling and intelligent maintenance which have become a hot point of technique.The article designs the logic architecture of information appliance based on information appliance interface definition language (IAIDL) by introducing and analyzing the main problem on the information appliance and its basic framework. Then, on the base of the architecture, the paper proposes an information appliance command language interpreter' s designing idea and the framework and then designs the related programming. After that, through analyzing and comparing several main home network technologies and according to the needs and the characteristics of various information appliances, the paper proposes intellectualizing home network architecture with a residential gateway. In the architecture, the communication between information appliance and residential gateway based on Bluetooth technology is mainly studied, and then we implement to simulate Bluetooth wireless communications between the information appliance in intellectualizing home network architecture and residential gateway using computer and ARM9 embedded microprocessor S3C2410 by the establishment of interrelated hardware and software platforms.At last, this article proposes a model of intellectualizing home network intelligent maintenance based on former content of the research, then studies and analyzes the theoretical frame and working procedure of remote monitoring and maintenance, automatic updating of driver and software and the food' s automatic ordering based on IDL.
