Communication, computer blends withconsumer will go a step further, so information appliance withfeasible digitization, the intellectualized andnetwork-rization can be developed rapidly, and InformationAppliance Industry will become big consumption growth area ofsociety.Development of Information Appliance is dependent ondevelopment and application of computer technology,communication technology and consumer electronics, relates tothat hardware and interface technology, embeddedtechnology, family network frame and networking technology,home appliance fabrication technology and software and relatedplatform technology and so on.The article have brought forward the Information Appliancearchitecture framework, and this framework is based IAIDL,which is first described. This article has introduced two waysto describe equipment——kind natural language and XML, and hasanalysed IDL compiler related problems. And then, owing to thisinformation appliance architecture has designed inside logicstructure, interactive of model the information appliance andfamily network model.At last, this article analyzed main sides of safety infamily network, including digital media content management and copyright protection, security mechanisms of family networkdevice and information appliance, and the realization of wholefamily of network security mechanisms. And according todifferent security needs of users in reality, this articleprovided different levels of security strategy betweenInformation Appliances: no security mechanism;basic identityauthentication and message authentication mechanism;identityauthentication, encryption and message authentication ormessage Signed mechanism.
