The Research And Implementation Of Information Appliance Wireless Network

Information Appliances (IA) refers to the combination of micro-computer and Communication technology into the traditional household appliances. It makes appliances become intelligent and have the abilities to obtain and process information at any moment.Home Network is the combination of Computer Network Technology, Communication Technology, and IA. It is a new typical application of information technology. Thousands of people pay more attention to it because of the development of Computer wireless network and automatics.This paper mainly studied the architecture of IA wireless network and its realization. By analyzing the structure of home networks, combining the advantage of wireless communication technology which now predominates, the paper put forward a home network program which is Based on ZigBee and IEEE802.11b technology:the home network system is constituted by home interior gateway, versatile controller and IA terminals. The paper also gave the design and the realization of home gateway web server and IA terminals.The paper summarized wireless communication technology at first. By analyzing and comparing, the paper chose ZigBee and IEEE802. 11b technology to build a home network so as to achieve the requirement of high performance and low cost.Then, the author had an in-depth study on the family network's overall structure and gave the design of the home gateway and home network structure. The family network's structure has advantages of centralized distribution and good scalability.Then the paper introduced the hardware platform of home gateway, analysis the method of how to develop underlying drivers. Described in detail for the drivers of ZigBee and IEEE802.11b interface.Then the paper analyzed the function and the running process of the home gateway web server. The author adopted JSP technology which has a cross-platform running characteristics to simulate the function of home gateway web server.Finally, on the basis of the Unified Device Management Protocol (UDCP), the author designed a family network communication model and analyzed how to adopt the ZigBee technology to implement the communications between IA, versatile controller and home gateway.
