Design And Research Of Intelligent Home Appliance Control System Based On ARM And ZigBee

Intelligent home appliance is development direction of home after sever years, which usesnetwork technology, wireless communication technology, computer technology and sensortechnology to combine a variety of systems related to home life and manages them through thecentral controller. It can give people a smart, comfortable and safe living environment.This thesis designs a smart appliance control system based on ARM, Linux and ZigBeewireless communication technology. This system combines appliances through ZigBee meshnetworking technology to achieve wireless connectivity between appliances and control center.This thesis compares several wireless networking technologies, and finally adopts ZigBeewireless networking technology to make network. It describes the advantages of ZigBeenetworking and the method to make network and studies the problem of the low powerconsumption and network security of the system. Finally, it gives the corresponding solutions.The whole system is divided into two major parts of hardware and software. Hardwareincludes the ARM controller module, ZigBee wireless module, power module, the key detectionmodule, the voltage and current detection module, switch control and temperature and humiditydetection module. Software includes the QT control interface section, the serial communicationsection, ZigBee wireless networking section, the voltage and current detecting section, thetemperature and humidity detector and the switching control section. This thesis describes theimplementation of the various parts of the system.This design can control home electrical equipment and monitor home environmentsinformation. It uses wireless method to control and manage and changes the disadvantage of wiredcontrol, easy to operate. It is suitable for ordinary families, luxury villas, hotels, office buildingsand other occasions and can greatly improve people’s way of life, and improve people’s quality oflife.
