A Study On The Internet Rioter

Internet rioter is an important cultural phenomenon in the network. Based on past researches, the author makes a systemic research on the group. The thesis defines the group and analyses the time background and course of the phenomenon from the perspective of society, technology and media. Then, the author particularly researches and analyses the group from the aspect of character, component, behavior, psychology, moral and the future. The research indicates that the group of Internet rioter is a temporal group caused by unusual events and this phenomenon is essentially symbolic violence and a kind of extremely maintenance of society morals. The author holds that the existence of the group brings great impacts on the change course of the structure of the discourse power and the law of Internet society. At the same time, the author points out that the government and society ought to attach importance to the negative influence of the group.
