In recent years, with the rapid development of materiel plasm transportation equipment, the application of reciprocating diaphragm pump become more and more widely-used in the different kinds of fields such as mine, power station and petroleum etc. Controller system is the most important key to technical of the diaphragm pump, whose precise, smart and stable work status directly effects the life of diaphragm, even the whole result of the diaphragm pump.Initially, the controller mode of diaphragm pump adopts relay, but it is poor in precision-control and reliability, so it brings on high failure and inconvenience for maintenance. This topic will mainly work over the controller system of diaphragm pump referring to the recent national status, in order to realize the design of the automatic controller system for diaphragm pump. This system not only can improve precision and reliability, but also can deduce the frequent failure, save the maintenance cost, decrease the labor intention and cost etc. We need to according as the operating principle based on controller system so that we can realize the precise control, enhance its efficiency and reliability. Therefore, the research of its control system plays a highly important role in theory and practice.This paper makes a deep analysis on the theory of control system, adopting PLC to replace relay. Recently, in the field of industrial control, PLC control, application and communication in upper computer configuration becomes a popular technique. With the development of PLC technique, in virtue of its high reliability, advance performance, extensive flexibility in industrial field and convenient performance in extended technics, PLC makes a more and more extensive use in the process of industrial automation control.Regarding the general design method of PLC control system, basic measure application in system reliability, we highly discuss design method on hardware and software of PLC control system. With the technique of PLC and configuration, it can automatically design for the whole control system.This paper makes a deep analysis on the theory of ethernet network . Through the choice and design of PLC control and configuration during the process of diaphragm pump operation, the paper analyzes and discusses the specific question, drafting the relative working flow chart for diaphragm pump, hardware configuration for automatic control system, as well as software flow chart. Moreover, it also finishes the debug in automatic control system. To sum up, the diaphragm pump controlled by PLC, owns a high quality and stable performance, completely satisfy the design requirement. Moreover, it can be taken an example of designing in the similar automatic control system of diaphragm pump.
