With the enhancement of people's awareness of fire prevention, fire detection alarm technology attracts more and more people's attention. Most of the traditional fire alarm system used RS-485 to communicate, and adopt a single temperature sensor to monitor the environment at the scene, and used glass ball sprinkler head as the performing devices. The scene of the fire on the acquisition of a single physical analysis often brought some interfering factors and errors, and the fire-fighting equipment must be replaced once be used.The design and realization of fire alarm system was studied based on CAN bus. Compared with traditional fire alarm systems, such as based on RS-485, the communication of CAN bus was more reliable, real-time and flexible. In this system the temperature and smoke sensors has used to detect the fire scene, so that the judge uses two parameters. The system used electronic fire-fighting device, which could run betimes and reduce waste.This system used master-slave structure. In main and slave nodes AT89S52 is used as the MCU. In order to communicate, the CAN interface is designed, which is composed by SJA1000 and 82C250. In addition, the main node included clock module, EEPROM memory module, serial communication module, decoding module, LCD modules; following nodes included sensors and performing devices. The main node used DS12887, AT24C16 and FM12232B LCD Module. The slave nodes used DS18B20 as temperature sensor and NIS-09C as smoke sensors, and used YHBY-25--42 stepper motor as the implement devices.
