Wireless sensor networks to the development of the greenhouse environmental monitoring system has brought new opportunities and challenges,the paper on the wireless LAN technology in the greenhouse environment monitoring system of discussion and detailed description of the greenhouse environment monitoring system development,Wireless LAN technology,and the key embedded wireless sensor nodes,such as the design process. Focus on embedded Linux system will be introduced to the greenhouse monitoring system,which greatly improved the performance of sensor nodes,so that it would be very easy to use wireless LAN technology mature,but also can carry more types of sensors,to the greenhouse environment monitoring system has brought about a new hardware and software platform.Based on the Wireless LAN technology is the key to the choice of wireless networking standards. Broadly speaking,all through a wireless medium in a regional context information linking together a network of equipment,can also be called wireless LAN,such as GSM / GPRS and CDMA,WiFi (IEEE802.11a,IEEE802.11b and IEEE802.11g ,etc.),Bluetooth,HomeRF,HiperLAN,ZigBee,etc.). Chong narrow sense,and wireless LAN (WLAN) generally refers to abide by the agreement IEEE802.11 series of wireless LAN technology network. According to the actual situation in greenhouse and field sensor data transmission situation,IEEE802.11 networking standard is a more appropriate choice.Finally,several experiments to test the wireless monitoring system for greenhouse environment function,the certification of wireless LAN technology into the greenhouse environment monitoring system the feasibility of greenhouse environment for future wireless monitoring system paved the way for the improvement.
