Design And Implement Of Web-Based Universities Equipment Management System

It is a trend to develop a Management System of University Equipment for the university estate development and information construction. In this paper, we analyze the operation situation and the procedures in the management of the estate briefly, and at the same time point out the pressing issues need to be solved in the university estate administration, also we present the necessity and importance of developing such a system.During the developing process, we seriously investigate the requirements of all kinds of staff involved in the management of the Equipment, and make a detailed analysis. Secondly, the staff of the affiliated working unit needs to do series of application work from asset declaration to asset cancellation through the system. Also, the staff should perform the daily maintenance and basic management tasks. The university-leveled staff needs to implement the basic auditing work of a series of applications, so as to provide operation support and concerning working flow interfaces. Thirdly, the school leading group will finish the ultimate auditing work of the estate resource management in the system, at the same time obtain a overall and clear understanding of the situations of the Equipment. Besides, there are some special system administrators responsible for the run and maintenance of the whole system.Based on the analysis and design of different roles, we present the basic plan of the system module design and make a detail divisions of the sub-modules. Simultaneously, map out the logical structures of the system. We realize the system upon VS.NET 2005 and SQL Server 2000. Design and create the data tables in the database. Utilizing the MVC module designing method, design and implement a class of data tables and other classes executing database operation, and combine all these with the interaction of DB and pages. By these classes, realize the functions such as asset and estate buying application, normal queries and application cancellation.In the paper, we introduce the realization of pages and tasks of different users with different rights under the background of concrete procedures of asset buying and writing into the database. We use RDLC and OWC components to design the reports. And adopt the role authentication mechanism and some measures to assure the safety of the system. The paper also tells how to realize the role authentication and other measures to prevent the system from being attacked of the SQL injection holes.At the end of the paper, we give a summarization of the system, analyze the disadvantages and propose how to improve the system. Make clear of how to gradually improve the functions of the system.
