Study Of The Military SDH Integrated Network Management System

Network management is one of the most important parts for Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) network. SDH Management Network is a kind of sub-network of TMN, SDH Management networks consists of several sub-networks(SMS), by these sub-networks management information of SDH optical transport network is transmitted. It plays a key role to maintain normal operating conditions of the SDH optical transport network.The thesis starts with an introduction of the basic theory of the SDH. Features of SDH transport and management networks are analyzed, materials involved in the design of a SDH management system are properly explained, in order to gain an overall and clear insight into the design problem. In allusion to the implementing scheme of a real SDH optical transmission network, a complete set of project is brought forward in this paper to achieve the integrated Network Management, including its design principle, its framework and related function modules, at same time some blocks of hardware and software is discussed in detail.
