A good network management system is an important guarantee for ensuring stable, efficient and safe operation of the network. In the current IP network, multiple network management models coexist.Correspondingly, there are multiple network management information definition languages, which cause the network management information to be diversified. At the same time, the semantic expression ability of these network management information definition languages is insufficient, which complicates network management. With its formal expression of semantic information and sharing, ontology has successfully solved similar semantic problems in the Semantic Web.Therefore, the ontology can be applied to the network management domain to describe network management resources. The control layer in the current IP network is tightly coupled to the forwarding layer, making the IP network complex and difficult to manage.SDN network is an emerging network framework that breaks through the limitations of current network equipment and decouples the network equipment control layer from the forwarding layer,so that the logic centralized controller can obtain network global information, which simplifies network management to a certain extent. However, the systematic and abstracted network management framework of SDN network has not been matured, and the description of network resources is flawed. In this paper, the ontology is applied to SDN network management, and the ontology-based SDN network management system is designed and implemented. The main work is divided into the following four points:First,an ontology-based SDN network management framework, the ONMF framework,is proposed. The framework includes the network management application, the network management knowledge base, the ONMP protocol, and the network management data interface. The specific SDN network management tasks are completed by designing a specific network management application The ONMF framework is a set of SDN network management framework, which enables network administrators to pay more attention to network management application logic, without paying too much attention to the underlying logic, and has certain reference significance for the development of SDN network management framework.Second,an ontology-based network management knowledge base is built.Firstly, the ontology is used to describe the SDN network resources, and the SDN network ontology model is constructed. Then the network management knowledge base is constructed by instantiating the resource maintenance network runtime information. Finally, the SPARQL query language interaction interface is designed to realize network resource management. The network management knowledge base solves the problem of insufficient expression of the semantic capabilities of the main network management information definition language, and describes the network management resources finely, forms an upper virtual network view decoupled from the underlying network, and completes abstract management of network resources under the global view;Thirdly, the design proposes an ontology-based SDN network management protocol, the ONMP protocol. The protocol extends the Diameter base protocol, and combines the SDN network ontology model to define the message type and message format of the network management protocol, and designs the packet interaction process. The protocol realizes the information interaction between modules in the ONMF framework, and has the advantages of strong scalability, adaptability and reliability.Fourth, the ontology-based SDN network management system is designed and implemented. In the established SDN network environment, the ontology-based SDN network management system was tested, and the corresponding experimental results and analysis were given.
