With the rapid development of computer network,there is a great probability of the remote education via internet. Because virtual experiment is a key part of the remote education, many researching has been denoted to the field.In this paper, the technology of virtual experiment and its application in remote education are briefly discussed. An initial work in the virtual experiment of computer interface has been done. A programmable control model has been proposed.Virtual Lab is playing a great role in improving students' skills and in reducing the expense of education, so it is the developing trend in experimental teaching. In this paper, a new methodology is put forward to design the virtual lab aiming at Microcomputer Interface experimental course, and some crucial technologies are studied. Main works are as follows:1. By analyzing the discrete-event features of Microcomputer Interface and comparing all kinds of simulation & modeling methods, the paper introduces UML modeling mechanism based on Object-Oriented modeling and RUP to iteratively develop the system.2. Virtual Prototyping is very important during the course of Virtual Lab designing ,and it is theoretically discussed in detail, then the whole idea is gave.3. With UML & driven by Use Case, the system static structure and its dynamic behavior are described from in details by using class diagram, sequence diagram, Activity diagram and state diagram , etc. , and the function model is gradually transferred to object model.4. Based on OOA&OOD technologies, the classes included in system, especially component class is analyzed particularly and Component library is designed ,which is the important part of the experiment system.5. By researching on running mechanism of the experimental system , the Observer mode is adopted to transfer message among the components of the system and its concrete usage is discussed in detail. It is a successful example and worthy of using for reference.6.Based on above analysis and design, the Microcomputer Interface Virtual Lab system is accomplished. It is of good performance in maintenance and extension, and is flexible to user's requirements.
