Mobile communication has become "hot spot" in telecommunication with personal communication development. The internal mobile subscriber networks turns to be the largest one in the world, at the same time subscribers have higher and higher demands of QoS of the mobile communication network. They hope that they can communicate with others with good quality of service anywhere and anytime. However the mobile communication network is a dynamic multidimensional system, it will have various changes among the procedure. These changes will affect network parameters as well as QoS. So the operators pay more attention to the QOS. Given this situation, the mobile operators have to perform testing, so they can understand the running situation of the mobile network, and after adjustment parameters or other technical means to enable the network to achieve the best possible perfomance and better serve users. This requires a complete set of functions, user-friendly network testing data collection system to help staff obtain accurate testing, informative network performance data for the corresponding network optimization. However, none testing data collection system can fully meet the above requirements now.Based on the current testing data collection system's disadvantages and deep research on the mobile communication network protocol architecture and the key technologies for testing and QoS, this thesis provide a new type, portable and highly intergrated testing data collection system which runing on mobile terminals. Furthermore, it also discussed the design ideas and implementation of this system, and introduced a testing standard that suit for this system. This system provide an wieldy and powerful integration platform for testers by integrated with global satellite position system, electronic map system and self-contained testing data collection functions. It can shorten the testing implementation cycle and reduce the costs.
